Honestly I think a lot of people who have never made a gif for tumblr don't get that it does actually take time and effort, its not just rip it from a video and post it- you have to download the video, in my case I have a video player installed that grabs continuous caps, figure out what parts you need, you have to open those in photoshop or gimp, depending on where you got photoshop you might be paying for it every month and then on top of that is actually sizing, cropping, colouring, sharpening, adding text, etc. etc. like it is something that takes time and effort for which the only real reward is creating something that makes you happy and hopefully people reblog it with a nice or funny tag, so maybe keep that in mind the next time you think gif makers are being mean or unfair for being upset about reposts. It is its own little artform that is fairly unique to this website, and that's a big aspect of why I have always loved tumblr, if all the gifmakers stopped posting things would be a lot more boring around here.

#like its well known reposting art or fic is rude so idk why gifs are free game #and why people are always so ~its just a gif~ okay well if its *just* a gif then you go and make one to that quality #oh wait you cant bc it actually does take time and practice #ive been at this for years and i still dont know all the tips and tricks #also the reason i mention all the software needed is bc like. you have to find install learn and it takes up space on the drive #so just reblog stuff and appreciate people that make fun content

oh we are. phil tweeting about it a few months ago was really more acknowledgement than i realistically figured we were ever going to get. so them specifically saying 'oh we can use that for thing day' is slightly encouraging me to believe we'll at least get the cardboard gerard selfie out of them. but given every other star aligning, and their internet infamy history, i put absolutely nothing past them. dan originally wanted to come out during ii, so they would absolutely consider batshit things on tour.

Making big purchases like this give me anxiety to a heavy level because low key I feel like I'm wasting money and that I don't need it because Arson, even though he's clearly not meant to last a lot longer in that shell and is corrupting and losing files, is still booting up and therefore I feel like I've done this 'too early' and that I don't deserve to get the new pc

Like I KNOW I need it and it will help me immensely but. You know

#so i finished. feels like they did not put a lot of thought into shiro or hunk's epilogue lmfao #overall i dont think it was Bad. it could have been better yknow. but again. it feels like they just needed a little extra time to breathe #in development. it's just bones.#i do think perhaps some of the criticisms i have seen of it are just from people pissing on the poor #i could fix her!!! ough i really do want to rewrite this sdnfksjfd but that would unfortunately require. having to watch this again #and i cant do that in 24 hours #im so sad this is disappearing. this is the only show for which i ever stayed up for the midnight PST release #back when only season 1 and maybe 2? were out i used to watch them constantly. sometimes in spanish to practice #like i wouldnt have ever finished without the threat of it leaving but this is the worst timing to reawaken my affection for it lmao #grateful for it. wish i hadnt waited so long #i did need time to forget the insanity tho bc if i had made myself keep going and finish at the time #it would have poisoned the ending i think. nice to finally watch those last 4-5 episodes with a fresh perspective #but at the same time this is How Many Years ive missed out on being able to talk about it lmao #maybe there is a renaissance. idk i havent looked into it too much but i guess i should now huh #we'll see if things are any different or if it's just the same shit i got tired of the first time around #but anyway. the show is still fun and i enjoyed it for the most part. very sad to see it go #mine #voltron

I realised that I never really post any traditional art so here's some things I made this month.

Lately I've been drawing with an ink pen I found in my room (I don't know how old it is but it works so that's cool). I'm really into drawing these weird planets/orbs with it because honestly it's just really relaxing and I guess it's almost like stimming to me? I recommend it.

I've also been working on improving designs of my ocs and doing some worldbuilding so there's a few drawings of Diphy here.
